Joyce R. Dondanville is a Partner at G3PM with over 28 years of civil litigation experience. Ms. Dondanville specializes in insurance litigation, both coverage and defense, with a concentration in vehicular matters, product and premises liability, medical and professional malpractice, director’s and officer’s liability, government entity liability, toxic torts, construction injuries, insurance coverage and bad faith actions.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Dondanville was the assistant general counsel for American Safety Insurance Company and provided coverage analysis on various types of insurance policies.  As an accomplished litigator, Ms. Dondanville has been lead trial counsel in many jury trials throughout southern California. She has represented insurance carriers, bonding companies, construction professionals and contractors, as well as individuals in numerous arbitrations, mediations, and administrative matters.  Ms. Dondanville has been a guest lecturer on construction related legal issues and mechanic’s lien laws in California.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Ms. Dondanville moved to San Diego in 1985 and was a flight attendant for a few years before continuing her formal education. She was also a professional cheerleader for the Buffalo Bills and went to their first super bowl.  Ms. Dondanville attended the University of San Diego and earned her Bachelor in Accountancy degree in 1992.  Ms. Dondanville continued her legal education at California Western School of Law, where she was on the Dean’s Honor list and a member of the Advocacy Honors Board, receiving her Juris Doctorate in 1995.

Ms. Dondanville has a vast array of experiences and connects well with the firm’s clients.  She has had great success with resolving cases in a timely and cost-effective manner.  She is a big advocate of keeping the client informed and has regular and frequent communications with both the client and the carrier.  This combination of timeliness, cost-effectiveness, and constant communication has made Ms. Dondanville very successful.
